2025 Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge – January 17-19, 2025
LET’S MAKE SOME NOISE!!
If anyone knows how to get out and cheer on race participants, it’s the people of Bermuda!
Each year we hear from overseas participants that one of the best parts of their Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge (BTC) experience was the support of the local community. Here are just a few of the positive comments we’ve received over the last few years.
“[This race] might not be London, NY or Chicago, but it beats them all when it comes to putting the fun back in running. The volunteers and spectators on the course were great!”
“The community in Bermuda was incredibly supportive and friendly!”
“I didn’t emphasize before, but the community support was outstanding. I don’t believe I’ve ever had more fun running races than I did this year.”
“[So much] community support and lovely, friendly Bermudians along the route.”
Obviously, our Bermuda-ful spirit makes a world of difference!
This year the Executive Committee of the Chubb BTC has thought of a new way to support participants as they run one, two, or all three races over the weekend: Community Cheer Zones!
We’re inviting clubs, non-profit organisations, community groups, businesses, church groups, running clubs, or even families to set up Cheer Zones along one (or more!) of the weekend’s many courses. Cheer Zones can be themed, represent your business or organisation, have live entertainment, or just be a great reason to get out and make some noise. We only ask that: 1) should you choose a theme, please keep it family friendly, and 2) if you use decorations, please minimise single use plastics to help us achieve our Sustainability Initiative goals. (Our brand colours may be pink and blue, but we are trying to be green ♥ at heart!).
These Community Cheer Zones are also a great way to get YOUR non-profit’s or organisation’s name out into the community, so feel free to put up feather banners, signs, etc. so participants know who you are and what cause you are representing. We want this to be a win-win activity! On that note, after the weekend’s events have concluded, the Chubb BTC Executive Committee will vote on the top 3 “Most Spirited” Community Cheer Zones to be entered into a raffle.
The winner of the raffle will receive:
- A free full-page advertisement in the 2026 Bermuda Triangle Challenge Event Programme.
- Two free social media posts in the 2025-2026 Bermuda Triangle Challenge calendar year to promote their cause.
- If they are a Bermuda Registered Charity, they will automatically be added to the list of charities that funds are raised for during the next BTC event year (2026).
Best of all, it’s free to apply! Just fill out this online application to help us coordinate with other on-course entertainment and gather your information so your organisation, club or group can be entered into the raffle.
We hope that you will join us in this new, exciting way for the community to get involved in the island’s largest international sporting event to make it bigger, better, and more engaging for our visitors. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at [email protected]
WHERE TO CHEER?
